Alofft Gallery is a new contemporary art gallery located in Historic Litchfield Connecticut.
Alofft Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the heart of historic Litchfield. Originally a traditional art gallery, with low ceilings and claustrophobic feel, we wanted to create a concept of being one with the sky, and designed the space around the main new feature, the skylight.
For highlighting artwork, the most important thing is the lighting. Natural light during the day and spot-lighting at night. We designed and executed this space in collaboration with the owner to perfectly blend the combination of natural and artificial light concepts.
